San Diego oozes sailing heritage

Twenty of the sailing luminaries, Dennis Connor, Ted Turner, etc. including five dead who longer care, are being inducted into the sailing hall of fame here today. It was blue blood, blue blazer day.
I’ve never seen so many blue blatziers in one place.  A terrorist could wipe out the entire living history of sailing with one bomb.
Fortunately sailors are a good and peacelocing lot and are not a target except off the coast of Somalia.
Our ha ha party at the same time,in an adjacent location, was a boisterous costume party devoid of formality or pretention.
Ironically our paths intersect but remain separate.
