South to Marina del Ray

John and Ihave integrated intoa smooth working machine and Arctic Tern III is cooperating admirabley.

We’ve had delightful stops at Moss Landing, Morrow Bay and Marina del Ray – each community with a distinct personality – as if we were visiting different worlds.  Our stop at the Moss Landing was memorable for the generous welcome we received at the Moss Landing Yacht Club. Genuine old salts regaled us with stories – likely embellished but who cares.  Morrow Bay is a lovely peaceful marina and community.  The Morrow Bay rock is the architectural centerpiece of this waterfront community.  Doubtless this rock was once worshipped by the locals – probably still is today.

And then there is indescribably Marina del Ray   so big they have helicopter pads on their stern.  But money or no, if you arrive by yacht you are welcome among all mariners.  We fly our Baja Ha Ha burgee off the starboard spreader so we can find our own kind at each port.

Please forgive errors; I’m struggling with the technologyh and updates may be sporadic.
